Collateral Awards

DSR (Dagger Sub Rosa) Designation
One of the unique facets of our constitution is that it recognizes individuals with experience in the fields of investigation, intelligence gathering/analysis, and military special
operations. Members with bona fide
training and experience are entitled to use the post-nominal DSR which stands for Dagger Sub Rosa (dagger beneath the rose), referring to the ancient practice of hiding messages or caches of weapons beneath a rose bush for secret or investigative service.

Saint Michael the Archangel

For those members qualified for the
DSR designation, the Merit Order of
St. Michael the Archangel is an award
we have in place to recognize services
and contributions to the functions of the Order. It is also both a recruiting tool, as it touches upon the lives of all service personnel, and a secondary award system for the Order to recognize other citizens in their communities for bravery, outstanding service, or benevolence.

One such award is a cross called the
"Knight of Justice", issued in gold to
members or silver to non-members.
